Apple announced a new phone a couple of weeks ago. The iPhone. Said to be a revolutionary piece of art and technology: “iPhone is a revolutionary new mobile phone that allows you to make a call by simply pointing your finger at a name or number in your address book, a favorites list, or a call log. It also automatically syncs all your contacts from a PC, Mac, or Internet service. And it lets you select and listen to voicemail messages in whatever order you want — just like email. (www.apple.com)”

As I spent a week @ 3GSM Barcelona, I was exposed to a plethora of phones and phone features. 3G, EDGE, Bluetooth, WiFi: yep, phones pack it now. Most of them come with mega pixel cameras, and the gigs of storage space to back that up. Easier user interfaces, net-connectivity, one button -sharing of data and information. MP3 play-back capability… touch screens…

I just forgot… What was revolutionary about that Apple iPhone again? 🙂
