Grrr. Everybody talks about Joost today. Joost here. Joost there. Joost seems to be everywhere. For those who have been living under a grey looking stone for the last couple of months: Joost is a new way of watching TV on the internet (of course) using a peer-to-peer network.
Forget the shaky quality of Slingbox and co, with Joost you get all the cool things: high-quality full-screen picture, full-length shows on demand, even search, chat and instant messaging, Joost was founded in 2006 by Janus Friis and Niklas Zennstrom, the creators of the Skype internet telephony service.
It is in Beta version now. And is marketed very well. You can not get on. You can not see it. You can not try it. Unless you’re invited. People with Joost invitations are suddenly becoming VIP’s with breathtaking power. Whole forums and groups beg mass hysterically for Joost invites. But is really nice, once you are in it. ;-).Thanks Nicolas! Thanks Steven!

I will get Joosted this weekend to check what the fuzz is all about.
