A journalist landed here looking for evidence. Good. Here it is.

I have been a quoted source since 2005. The first one was PRWeek UK, talking about spin and rebranding (I was thirty-three, still working with words for a living, and “spin” was the news cycle of the moment). Twenty years later the list has grown.

Business Insider ranked me #3 most influential ad exec on Twitter in 2013. CEOWORLD ranked me #10 in 2014. Pearson Education ran a full chapter on me in 2011, in Dean Gratton’s “Going to Market” (ISBN 9780789748003). The Bluetooth SIG used me as their press spokesperson on the wires for seven years, from 2005 to 2012, quoted by CNBC, BusinessWire, TMCNet, GlobeNewswire, and a Turkish weekly called Şalom. Brian Solis republished my SXSW 2026 piece on his own site this March, calling it “a thoughtful piece,” which, coming from Brian, counts.

That’s the headline.

Below: eighty-nine cited mentions across three buckets. Press written about me. Columns I wrote for third-party magazines (mostly mm.be, the Belgian trade press). Essays I published here on Heliade.

Three buckets, one timeline, every link sourced.

If you are a journalist on deadline, the media contact, bio, and downloadable headshot sit at the bottom of this page. If you are a Wikipedia editor assessing notability, only the first bucket counts under your rules. The columns and the Heliade essays are filed separately so you do not have to do the filtering yourself.

Everything below is public. Everything below is linkable. Use it.

Press coverage

47 entries. Third-party press, interviews, rankings, books, spokesperson quotes, lecturer and moderator credits, and event listings. This is the bucket Wikipedia editors care about.

Bylined columns in third-party press

23 entries. My writing, published by other people’s editorial teams (mm.be, briansolis.com, WE Media). The editorial decision to syndicate is theirs; the words are mine.

Selected writing on Heliade

19 entries. My own essays on Heliade and a handful of mm.be columns cross-posted from Heliade. Primary sources, not press.
